Using Conventions of real text-Robert Herkstroter

1.From what I've recovered of the two blogs (ROMBES and a2media) , I found from each two films that assisted me with creating my own film (by looking at their conventions.

2.25.The things I analysed is simple, first from AS (ROMBES) is the opening sequences of Mickey's House of Villans (Direct-to-video) and Canal and Canal boats (Direct-To-Video), then the A2 (a2media) focuses on the short films Le' Cafe (Short Film) and The joy of destruction (Short Film).

2.50.THe context for my opening scene analysis (AS) was in it's formal fiirst an introduction of the film and why I selected it to be reviewed, then I answer the convenctions of the opening sequence (Camera, editing, sound, Mise-en-scene) in the manner of long slightly technical paragraphs and giving a bit of my own opinion on it's use on weather it is good or not.

Later, the context for my short film analysis (A2) was first an introduction of the film covering name, country, year and creative people in a manner of an opening-show introduction, then the film itself is the next thing to look at so that people could get the idea on what I am talking about.
Similarly to the AS, the A2 ansers the questions from paper direct with the subjects "can it convert to a movie?" "genre" "film language" and finally the conclusio, but the answers in this one are short, simpler and gives my own opinion, but due to the direct answering of questions on a paper, there are some places that contain confusing answers (without the question and in hope the examiner would understand) so there is improvement, but the technical side got a bit a hold on me.

Using conventions of real texts

In AS our film opening was a horror therefore the two film openings we analysed to discover conventions of that text were; Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity and George Romero's The crazies.
